First, check the transfer
Open the browser's downloads list and find the recent SaveMySave filename. If it is still downloading, wait for completion. If it failed or was blocked, inspect the browser message. A page saying the file is ready does not prove that a local copy was saved.
- Find the filename shown in the result card; it includes a unique suffix.
- Open that item in the browser's downloads list.
- Use its folder/location action or open it in a suitable player once complete.
Windows and macOS
In Chrome, open the menu and choose Downloads; use Show in folder for the file's location. In Edge on Windows, Ctrl+J opens Downloads. The destination may be Downloads or a folder you chose in the browser's settings or save dialog. Do not assume the desktop is the destination.
Android
In Chrome, open the menu and choose Downloads, or use the device's Files app. Menu placement and folder names can vary by device and browser. Look for the filename and verify completion before opening it; a Gallery app may not list every saved video immediately.
iPhone and iPad
For downloads made in Safari, check the Downloads button in Safari, then the Downloads folder in the Files app. Apple documents Files → Browse → iCloud Drive → Downloads; your Safari save setting may use another location. A downloaded file is not necessarily added to Photos automatically.
Still cannot find it?
Search for the unique suffix from the result card. Check the browser's destination setting, available device storage and whether you cancelled the save dialog. If the temporary result expired, return to the download page and prepare a new result rather than reusing an old file link.
These instructions are based on browser documentation. Physical-device testing and screenshots for every listed OS are still pending in the closed preview.
Quick answers
Can SaveMySave choose my folder?
Your browser controls the save dialog and destination. The site supplies a filename, not unrestricted access to your folders.
Why are two filenames different?
New results include a unique suffix. The browser may also add its own duplicate marker when you save the same result again.
Does deleting the browser download history delete the file?
In Chrome on desktop, removing the download-list entry does not delete the local file. Other actions and browsers can behave differently; check the action's label.
