How to save audio
Copy the link to the individual post containing the video, for example t.me/channel/123. Choose Audio after the link is checked. Voice messages, audio documents and private chats are not covered by this video-audio feature.
Use a public post address such as t.me/channel/123 or t.me/s/channel/123. The post must expose an accessible video with an AAC audio track. M4A contains that video’s sound. This feature does not download voice notes, audio documents, private chats or a channel archive.
- Paste a public video link you have permission to save.
- After checking, choose Audio and an available format.
- Choose Save audio. Check progress in your browser’s downloads list.
Available audio formats
AAC audio is saved as M4A; Opus or Vorbis as WebM. MP3 is offered only for an existing MP3 track. Audio is not re-encoded or enhanced.
