The link is invalid or the post type is unsupported
Copy the individual video's Share link again and include the full address. A profile, channel, text-only post, private Telegram /c/ link or unsupported album is not equivalent to a public single-video link. Open the relevant source guide to check the supported shape.
The source requires access that the preview does not use
A post can require sign-in or be age-, region- or access-restricted even if its address looks public. This preview does not ask for passwords, account cookies or login sessions. Use an accessible link to your permitted material; repeated requests cannot remove a restriction.
Temporary source failure or timeout
The source may be busy, unavailable or have changed its responses. Wait and retry once after the active request ends. If it keeps failing, do not keep generating jobs. A generic error does not establish the precise upstream cause; it needs diagnostics before being called a permanent restriction.
Queue, rate or storage limits
A busy queue or rate limit means waiting, not opening more tabs. Storage pressure protects the server's existing disks; freeing space on your phone does not fix server capacity. A file-size or duration limit needs a smaller permitted item or an available lower-resolution choice, not an unlimited retry loop.
The file was ready, but the browser did not save it
Check the browser's downloads list for the actual transfer state, local disk space and save-dialog result. Expired or removed results need a fresh preparation. Do not disable browser security warnings just to force a download; inspect the message first.
Useful diagnostics: the stage, visible error text, chosen codec/resolution and browser/OS. Never share passwords, cookies, private Share tokens or downloaded personal media in diagnostics.
Quick answers
Will pressing Download many times help?
No. It can add load or trigger limits. Let the current request finish, then make one deliberate retry if the error is temporary.
Does every failure mean the video is private?
No. Access restrictions, source errors, unsupported formats and capacity problems are different causes. A generic failure should not be labelled private without evidence.
Why did an old file link stop working?
Prepared results are temporary and may expire or be removed. Recheck the original permitted source to create a new result.
